And while these goals are ambitious, they’re not enough on their own. That's where the Climate Challengers come in. Osama Baig, Host
Passionate about how nuclear technologies create a positive impact on the world, Osama is an innovation lead at OPG’s CCNS.
A graduate from the Nuclear Engineering program at Ontario tech University, in his free time he enjoys creating videos on his Youtube channel, which demystifies nuclear technologies by simplifying them.
Andrea Bain, Host
The multi-talented Andrea Bain is a veteran TV host and broadcast news reporter, the author of the book, Single Girl Problems, and host of her own radio show/podcast of the same name. She’s an insightful interviewer known for her down-to-earth personality and ability to engage and energize audiences.
Daniel Simpson, EP08 Guest
Daniel is a PhD student in Screen Cultures and Curatorial Studies at Queen’s University where he also works an instructor for courses on film history, film theory, and the video essay. He also performs media criticism through a series of video essays available on Youtube under the name Eyebrow Cinema.
Kapil Aggarwal, EP08 Guest
Kapil has worked at OPG for over 23 years in various roles related to Operations, Maintenance and Engineering. For the past 4 years, he has led the NSS-Eastern Operations team as the Director and recently became Vice-President of Nuclear Sustainability. Kapil has a Masters of Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Kathy and her team are focused on helping the company achieve net-zero by 2040, which includes developing new clean energy projects like Small Modular Reactors and hydroelectric power, and advancing the electrification of other sectors. Jennifer Chapin, EP07 Guest
Jennifer leads a team with a portfolio of diverse and innovative isotope projects. She has experience in a wide cross section of roles and functional areas of nuclear power production including engineering, fuel handling, performance improvement, and nuclear waste management. Jennifer holds a degree in Engineering Physics from McMaster University.

Nuala began her career at OPG as a System Engineer at the Pickering B Nuclear station in 2002. She has since worked in nuclear site Strategy, Generation forecasting and long term Outage planning. Most recently, the Nuclear Medicine & Radioisotopes Division and the Centre for Canadian Nuclear Sustainability were added to her portfolio.
